David Cecere

Mr. Cecere joined Tailwater Capital at inception and is responsible for deal sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio oversight. He serves on the boards of Blue Tide Environmental, Continuus Materials, Cureton Midstream, Freestone Acquisition Corp, Pivotal Petroleum Partners, Pivotal Royalties Partners, and Renovo Resources.

Mr. Cecere has over 16 years of experience advising and financing companies in the energy industry. Prior to joining Tailwater, Mr. Cecere was an Associate with HM Capital where his primary responsibilities included evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments in the energy portfolio. Mr. Cecere joined HM Capital from Merrill Lynch and Co., where he worked as an Analyst providing capital raising and M&A advisory services for midstream companies. Mr. Cecere earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance and a BA in Plan II Honors.
