Align Midstream Partners II Announces East Texas Greenfield System Build for BP America Production Company

DALLAS, March 29, 2018 – Align Midstream Partners II announced today that they have recently commissioned the first phase of their new natural gas gathering and treating system to serve producers targeting the Haynesville and Bossier Shale formations in Angelina County, TX. The system is anchored by a long term agreement and dedication with BP America Production Company and will provide much needed gathering and treating infrastructure to the growing area. When fully built out, the planned system will consist of more than 50 miles of large diameter gathering pipelines, a large treating facility, and multiple interconnects with downstream interstate pipelines in the area.

Customer Perspective
“BP is in the early stages of what we expect will be a significant, long-term investment in East Texas,” said Jamie deMahy, BP L48 Senior Vice President of Development for the East Business Unit. “New midstream infrastructure projects like this one will not only be key to our growth plans but also bring new economic development and opportunity to the region.”

CEO Perspective
“We are very excited to announce the startup of our Angelina system. This system provides producers tremendous capability and flexibility to execute upon their drilling plans,” said Fritz Brinkman, CEO Align Midstream Partners II.
