Trey Hatcher

Mr. Hatcher joined Tailwater Capital in May 2021 and is responsible for evaluating, executing, and monitoring the firm’s investments.

Mr. Hatcher has over 9 years of experience in private equity, midstream operations and investment banking. Prior to joining Tailwater, Mr. Hatcher was a Vice President at LM Energy Partners, a private equity-backed midstream company. Prior to LM, Mr. Hatcher worked as an Associate at NGP Energy Capital Management, an energy private equity firm. Prior to NGP, he worked as an Analyst at J.P. Morgan in the energy investment banking group. Mr. Hatcher graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Washington and Lee University with a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration.
